This cozy second floor guest room welcomes you with its soothing country décor of blue and white. Bask in the morning sunlight as it shines through the beautiful bay window. Take in the views of Gettysburg College, Barlow’s Knoll and the Inn’s rear gardens. This room also features an antique double bed with private bath (this bathroom has a shower stall only, no tub).

Brigadier General Edward A. O’Neal, CSA. Future Governor of Alabama, on July 1, 1863, O’Neal led a premature attack from Oak Hill against the Union line on Mummasburg Road, just north of the Doubleday Inn. His brigade was quickly beaten back by the Federals.
